Samsung TAB 750 is not just Fun, but it’s about Productiveness and Purposefulness.

First and foremost the event was grand and very informative and finally Lara is so very gorgeous as always. Please visit the link to see the event for yourself

What is so interesting about Samsung Tab is the commitment by Samsung to make the experience more personalised. Their is no doubt that tablets is the future of computing around the world, because of its versatility and it is used for not just fun things but for productive and purposeful stuff as well. Below we will see how we can make our life and work more interesting.

We all know about all the fun stuff we can do with Samsung Tab, but let’s talk first about all the other interesting stuff, we will call it…

Productive and Purposeful stuff:-

Wireless productivity is very powerful and Samsung has added purposefulness to it by encouraging development of interesting application that bridges this gap. And to showcase this, Samsung along with its partners has created some interesting industry specific applications showcased at the event as an example of what can be achieved by using Samsung Tab and its technology.

a) Parliamentary app – This simple application helps all our “Hardcore Working” MPs become more efficient and be up-to-date on parliamentary sessions. In short it is Productivity tool for them and also helps the Govt to save usage of paper, thus making them greener.

Imagine your local area MLA having Samsung Tab to check on task completed or/and to assign task to its subordinate to address citizen grievances or/and check on any incomplete work in progress in his area.

I can bet Gujarat Govt under Mr. Narandra Modi can make most of such technology. When they can do so much without Samsung Tab, imagine if they had one.

b) Unilever Sales Analytic app – It is interesting to see how FMCG Company like Unilever is finding interesting use of Samsung Tab….everyone at Unilever is using Samsung Mobile phones and Tablets and this is giving them real time insights into the needs of the consumers.

The obvious impact is, Unilever is more efficient and productive than its competitor. For example, they have real time data from their field staff about the stocks that needs shelves…the local shop keeper is happy because he will get his stock on time and when he needs without losing customer and consumers are happy to not travel to other shop due to none availability of particular product.

Such connectivity and mobility not just helps Unilever in delighting its end consumer like you and me, but also helps keep the motivation level of its most important staff “the sales heroes” high, because now they are empowered with technology so they do not have to sweat unnecessarily.

c) Medical app: – I believe medical industry needs this, at-least for the sake of the patients. Imagine doctor having all your medical records to suggest you quick and less expensive treatment, anywhere and anytime.

Likewise Educational productive app is also interesting area. And if you give a thought yourself you will find a usage of Samsung Tab within your own area of business/profession/industry connecting everyone easily, effectively, productively, and purposefully with lots of fun

And other interesting accessory & features you will get with new generation of Samsung Tab

a) Keyboard dock – Just insert your Samsung tab onto this dock and it changes into your personal computer, wirelessly.

b) Wireless connectivity – Select the Song/movie from your Samsung Tab and connect wirelessly to your home music system or television.

c) Amazing display quality and bigger screen, amazing touch interface, amazing speed and multitasking capability.

d) India specific application – Like watch TV on Tab, or/and download music or movie and other rich content app etc…

e) Tab 750 Specification – Pic below

Finally overall it’s a good product in the current market yet seen in India. It’s time to tab!! Visit to learn about the Tab 750 specification in details.

My office chaiwala, his flashy smile and our Alcatel stylish ‘OneTouch’ !!

It was fine Friday morning 8:30 am, I came early to start with freshness and thought will start my weekend from 5 pm…as i was going through the work for the day, i found its a relaxing day, not much work, I find a hot cup of strong tea kept on my table at 9:30 am…wal-haa what a start. The chaiwala asked how was the tea; as usual I said “badiya hai” (very nice) and started working.

It was 11:30, and as usual he came again and asked for tea, I said ‘in the afternoon’, while i was reading ET, my colleague ordered a few cups…it was 2:30 in the afternoon and I find myself with a cup of tea, i look around and find some are drinking coffee, others having horlicks, some are having plain milk…it was like we were only busy drinking our favorite stuff, it was a scene everyone with their respective cups sipping and working…working and sipping :) .  At 3:30 this guy drops in again asking everyone, few orders and few says later, he asked me and i realized this guy pops in every three hours to offer us our shots of flavored milk, I asked him to give me at 4:30…it was 5:30 and our guy drops in and offers every one including me.

I thought lets talk to him and understand his secret of smile every time he flashes while giving us our dose. I asked him candidly, is this the only place to do business or does he also have other locations. With that flashy outburst, he said “kya sab mazak kar-rahe hai mere saath”; at that moment i heard telephone ring, and my dear friend chaiwala takes the phone and excuses himself to receive the call, he comes back with his Alcatel OneTouch Net phone. I got interested, asked him how much do you $$? Without hesitation said enough to sustain myself and my girlfriend, hmm…that’s a pretty interesting answer. ( i told myself-’Why didn’t i think of this, maybe it could be used for some brand)

What excited me about the Chaiwala was his choice of mobile phone. The Alcatel OneTouch Net Phone, quite life-stylish indeed.  I got curious to see loaded smart phone smartly pulled out from his jean’s back pocket.

When i asked him, if he does use all the loaded features of the phone…to my surprise, his reply was ‘sab mast phone hai… phone mast hai sab’.  I was knocked down with amusement (mere amusement ka thikana na raha), so i decided to waste mine and his time usefully to understand what was so mast about the phone to him. He said, my girlfriend likes this phone so much that she gifted me…i said, ah…and he continued…but i hardly use it, she uses the phone all the time and with that naughty smile, he said, i get to be with her all the time. Ah…i said, so beta (s0n) this was the mast part of your story; and he showed his flashy smile again.

And we continued discussing the phone, i asked him if his GF knew all the features on the phone, and he said i don’t know…then few seconds later, he said she Chats/SMSs/GroupTalk a lot with her friends…i told myself, no doubt she is a big fan of Yahoo messenger and Cheap SMSs and Conference Calls service from TATA Docomo. And he continued…we watch Videos together, listen to music together, we click many photos together…ah…i told myself full use of free mal (gift). I candidly asked him, do you do anything along brother, and with that flashy smile…he says, i keep reminder, check emails, update address book from my Yahoo account and upload photos on our flickr account. Hmm… i was wondering ‘reminder’ what use to him…ah… GF indeed. And he continued…i also use it to search office locations and address information, and sometimes play games, and mostly send many greeting cards to her, i was surprised, and told myself, i did not know about that one-interesting.

I asked him, what else…again with that flashy smile…ye phone badiya hai sab, and proposed me to buy one for myself. Ah, now was the chance to show him that i was also in the same league, i pulled out my sexy white case ‘OneTouch’ stylishly from my front pocket.

This time both of us had that flashy smile on our face!!

How to build a brand

Sue Sullivan (Owner of HOT SQUEEZE, USA, Gr8r Atlanta) asked: Looking for advice on how to build a food brand

Hi, Interesting question…but unfortunately it does not have any formula.
I am in food business as well make gourmet cookies and fortunately marketing personality!! And i believe building a brand is ongoing process and your own unique branding idea comes from you. Yes YOU, no consultant can create a DNA for your brand; of course they can help in execution and makeup.

Simply answer this to yourself to understand how you want to take your brand forward…

a) When you created or thought about the logo or name of your brand, what was going in your mind? i.e. what was the idea, what was the image you could see, what was the feeling?

b) Does this feeling still as strong or has it changed, if changed, then answer why it has changed, is it because of outer influence or is it because your internal objectives has changed?

I believe your brand is an extension for your own personality…one thing is very interesting about brand building you can change it to your own likes…what i mean by it, can you change your personality? (unless you are not happy with who u are) most of the time it is hard to change and that is why we sometime subconsciously want to be somebody else…branding is a good medium to express your hidden or secret personality/expressions which you can create through a product brand Or service brand.

For example, you give the brand a name, dress it up with colors and font and give it a language for communication which will make it stand out and interesting, you don’t go to all kinds of places, right, you go to select places with your frnds and family…similarly your brand goes to select places (distribution and stores). Do you make friends with everyone, No, right…similarly your brand makes friends with select group of people (in marketing we call it segment and target audience)…but you are friendly with everyone who come in contact with you…similarly your brand is friendly (this is customer friendliness in the marketing language)…you have hobbies…similarly your brand has some 😉

I hope you got the picture!! And i am sure you can make an interesting brand for yourself.

How blogging has become automated!

I was surfing for some serious information and pop…a message on my face, reads like this (below)

Powerful Auto blogging Plugin for WordPress weblogs. Automatically post Youtube Videos, Amazon Products, eBay auctions, Clickbank ads and much more to your blog without lifting a finger.

Now this has suddenly become very important…just doing nothing and your blog is full of information well…sounds to true to believe, so I jumped in, to know and understand how this is done.

After few minutes they sold me the idea…i paid them…yes paid them just to try, is it really worth not thinking through about your post before posting them or am i so lazy to write a original post at-least once in a month.

I suddenly realised, this product is not for me, it is targeted to full-time blogger who makes living by blogging or for people who simply wants more people to read there blog. But wait, (i realised) i just paid for this plugin,  now i don’t know how to go about it…can you help??
